My First Garden

This year I planted a garden...my very First Garden to be exact!

It is over at my grandparents house because their soil is sooo much better then ours (ours is basically clay). Anyways life has been sooo busy lately that I hadn't been over to weed in like 2+ weeks...

needless to say I had my work cut out for me...check out the photo's below...

Its all worth it though it has been a blessing to plant my first garden with my grandparents & they have taught me a few things. I will never forget my first garden or this experience. I will treasure it forever and hope one day I will teach my children & grandchildren what mine have taught me.

Here are a few items I have in my garden...

Tomatillos

Sunflowers (really pretty ones..red & orange)

Corn

Peppers

I also have strawberries, cucumbers (for pickles), beans (for dilly beans), Tomato's, Carrots, Green Onions, Snap Peas, Pumpkins and I think that's it. 

My only wish is that one day I will have a wonderful big garden...that I could go and pick things that I need for dinner. Ahhhhh what a dream!!!
